The London Taxi Company, the largest British owned automotive manufacturer and a beacon of British society, was created over 80 years ago. When the 'hackney carriage' was first created in the 1700s, it was known to be the first private-hire taxi pulled by a single horse called a cabriolet-the French word for this vehicle. As the popularity developed, so did the vehicle, bringing us over 6 different models across the century.
Today, LTI's latest product is the new generation TX4 series. Renowned as the "London Cab" the TX4 series has undergone further developments into creating the finest and most advanced purpose-built taxi.
